About Me

Meet Madison - Your lead personal trainer at High Rise Performance. Madison was born in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania with two highly motivated parents. Both of her parents earned exercise science degrees and teach with those degrees today. Since Madison was born, she was raised with an active family, having a dad as a division one wrestler, and participating in several sports from dance, to track and field. She threw the discus, shot put, and javelin. Her two hard working parents raised her with values to work hard and to give best effort at all times. She tries to apply and instill this knowledge with the clients she works with today. Her father introduced her to the weight room in the 8th grade, and she began to train with the men's high school wrestling team. She came in with little experience, and was not able to lift the 45lb barbell. By her senior year, she was able to out lift a good amount of the boys, with them eventually giving her the nickname “Freight Train.”

Madison attends the University of Iowa and is a dual major, studying biomedical and biochemical engineering. She also has a strong interest in joining the military after college. She enjoys getting involved in extracurricular activities, and is the current president of the University of Iowa Boxing Club. She later plans to compete in a couple of boxing matches. When Madison is not training clients or working out herself, she can be found studying, traveling , hiking or spending time with her friends.

My Fitness approach

  • Weight Loss
  • Strength
  • Functional

Entering the weight room is the spark of light in her day. Her passions for exercise and weightlifting have been brightening since she was in elementary school. She is always looking for growth and wants to continue pushing herself to be better and better every time she enters the gym. She believes one should go to the gym to improve themselves in all aspects. This includes setting internal goals like building routine, confidence, self discipline and staying consistent. She believes the aesthetics goals that most people are looking for are a result of this.
