About Me

Antonio Garcia III is your dedicated personal trainer and the visionary behind High Rise Performance. Born and raised on the vibrant southwest side of Chicago, Antonio's journey into the world of athletics ignited during his early years in elementary school. From football to track and rugby, his love for sports propelled him toward the realm of fitness. As a teenager, Antonio made a steadfast commitment to training, a discipline that paved his path to success in competitive sports throughout his university years. With each passing year, Antonio accumulated a wealth of knowledge in fitness, recovery, and nutrition.

He embarked on a formal education journey at the University of Iowa culminating in a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Physiology, with a specialized focus on Exercise Science. During his academic tenure, Antonio earned his personal training certification and stepped into the role of a personal trainer. The University of Iowa's prestigious Campus Recreation and Wellness Center (CRWC)became his arena for honing his real-world expertise. Here, he embraced the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including students enrolled in the REACH Program providing fitness guidance to those with intellectual, cognitive, and learning disabilities.

Upon graduating, Antonio left his training post near campus to continue his fitness odyssey in his beloved Chicago. He commenced his journey as a personal trainer at a well-established fitness service, specializing in high-intensity interval training. His clientele spanned a wide spectrum of ages, including a significant number of seniors, a departure from his prior experience with college students and middle-aged individuals. Antonio's versatility and adaptability as a trainer flourished as he catered to this diverse demographic, drawing from his rich reservoir of previous experiences to craft tailored workout programs. Possessing comprehensive mastery of fitness, Antonio is the ideal mentor for beginners, intermediates, advanced enthusiasts, and athletes alike.

Driven by his passion for challenge and fitness, Antonio sought to test his limits at Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Quantico, Virginia, the crucible where Marine Corps Officers are forged. In the summer of 2022, Antonio emerged victorious as a graduate, a remarkable feat given the rigorous attrition rate of 50%. He furthered his journey at The Basic School (TBS), where he imbibed the art of leading Marines as a provisional rifle platoon commander. Presently, Antonio is immersed in flight school as a Naval Aviator stationed in sunny Pensacola, Florida.
