Kyle is an Exercise Physiologist. He grew up in the small town of Erie, Illinois. At a young age he participated in a variety of sports. No matter what he was doing, he enjoyed being active. During his high school years he narrowed his competitive nature to focus on football and track and field. Kyle was a three-time state pole vaulter and sprinter. He became invested in learning about exercise and what he could do to perform at the highest level.
Kyle kicked off his college career at the University of Iowa and graduated with a BA in Health and Human Physiology with a focus on Exercise Science. As a student, he took advantage of the resources Iowa City offered to become a better Exercise Physiologist. While in school, Kyle trained and competed in his first Strongman competition. Through his studies and working at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Kyle gained valuable experience in exercise testing and prescription. Specifically, he worked in pulmonary rehabilitation testing aerobic capacity and helping patients improve strength and endurance. He said, “The connections I made with each patient and seeing their progress was most rewarding.”
As an Exercise Physiologist, Kyle is qualified to train clients ranging from elite athletes to high risk individuals such as having: cardiovascular, metabolic, renal, or pulmonary complications. Regardless of your current health and fitness level, Kyle is ready to assist in developing an exercise program tailored to your specific goals and interests.
Kyle has adopted the ‘Exercise is Medicine’ philosophy. He has witnessed both unmotivated and motivated individuals improve their mental and physical health by engaging in exercise. It’s very beneficial to find a type of exercise you enjoy doing by yourself or with friends and family. Overall quality of life improves substantially. Kyle focuses on both health and skill related components of fitness. Through many years of training, he has learned to listen and take care of his body for living a happier and healthier life.

Absolutely amazing, I’ve lost 143 pound in the last 18 months. I didn’t think I would ever be the size I am now. I’ve tried trainers before and always felt like they were just there for a check and never really followed up to make sure I was following my at home regimen. Working with Antonio, he always makes me feel like I’m his only client and randomly follows up with me to make sure I’m staying on track. He pushes me farther and harder than I think I can go which helped me achieve my goals quicker. He continually helps me figure out a meal plan and helped me choose a protein routine that works for me. I plan on stay with High Rise Performance and I don’t plan on stopping
This company helped me change my life! I had been struggling with a weight gain this past fall semester of classes and was struggling to get motivated to start. I was just scrolling throw Instagram and then found High Rise Performance, I reached out to their head Trainer Antonio and we started sessions in January. He is a very passionate trainer and you can tell he really cares about his clients goals, so far i have lost 26 pounds and have seen great results! I have continued to see change even during the quarantine, when it has been hard to stay motivated.He has been such a great positive influence on my life I could not be more pleased. I've been with personal trainers in the past because I have recurring back issues, but none have made me feel like I can accomplish anything like him! He helped me formulate a detailed plan that I was able to keep up with, pushed my limits, and was very encouraging and never made me feel like I couldn't do anything due to any physical constrains.
